Our toes curl at the sight of small print, but it appears that not only to add to our credibility, but also to comply with legislation, we are required to offer you our own ‘large print’ version. You should note that your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected (most probably enhanced).
We run this website as a service to our customers. By using it, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of Use. We’ll try to stay away from the legal jargon and keep this as simple as possible. DATA & PRIVACY
All the information collected from you will be securely stored in our database and is used purely to carry out your instructions and action your payment. There are no circumstances under which this information will be passed to a third party. Personal details such as IDs and passwords, are collected to verify your identity and for use as account numbers in our database. Your contact information may also be used to contact you when necessary for customer service reasons. We will not contact you unless you give us permission.
Faureal uses a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information.
Credit card numbers are not stored by us but by PayFast who act as our Payment Gateway. Allpersonal information collected by us is stored in a Faureal secure database. You are personally responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login ID and password on registration.
PRODUCTS AND SUPPLY
We sell fragrance and cosmetic products as described in detail on our website. All these products are governed by the appropriate South African law. We make use of the services of professionals like accountants, lawyers etc. to assist in the delivery of a great product and service to you, our customer. If at any stage before, during or after buying our products you feel you need advice or support, please feel free to contact us. We strive to ensure that all stock levels are 100% accurate, however this may not always be possible. Should it happen that any products are out of stock, we will either offer you an equivalent product, notify you how long it will take for new stock to arrive or provide you with a full refund within 30 days. We will assist you as best as we can. After completing the buying process, you will be required to pay, at which point the product will be packaged and delivered to you, via a third party courier service. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10% administration fee.

Delivery of our products will be via courier service, as stipulated in your purchase process. Faureal cannot be held liable for late delivery of products by the third party courier company (although we will assist with any concerns around delivery). Delivery costs are included in the total cost paid by the customer. For any orders of R1000 or more, free postal delivery will be offered to the buyer. Should the buyer prefer “door to counter overnight” or “door to door” delivery, the buyer forfeits the free postal delivery option and will need to pay for delivery costs
We feel confident that you get value for money by buying our products. All fragrances are 100% authentic and sourced from authorized international distribution houses. All fragrances are sold in original bottles, original packaging, new unused tester box packaging, or new unused unboxed. We import excess stock, end of promotion stock, stock overruns, job lots, end of line items, testers, discontinued packaged stock and dented box job lots to bring you the consumer top quality original goods at a fraction of the price. You’re always welcome to contact us for free additional advice and support should it be required.
We Do Not accept any returns as all fragrances are sold in original bottles, original packaging, new unused tester box packaging, new unused testers and this will reflect in the product discription online. If you are unhappy with the product you have purchased because it does not meet with the description on our site, we will refund you on return of the product. Fragrances are sold on the basis that you have previously experienced the product/perfume you are purchasing.
No refunds and returns for unboxed items. We only accept credit card payments, so all refunds will be to the appropriate Credit Card Company. As the courier service is a third party service, we are unfortunately unable to refund the courier costs.
Although our customers offer payment at the time of placing their order, it is our policy to only action Credit Cards the following business day. All online payments take place by credit card through Nedbank (commercial bank) and MWEB Payfast (Payment Gateway) which ensure a totally secure (BS7799 – Code of Practice for Information Security Management) environment.
In terms of South African Tax Law, we charge VAT which is included in the price of the service you’re buying.
We take complaints very seriously and will contact you as soon as practically possible. Our aim is to respond to all queries within 8 hours during normal business hours.
LAW AND JURISDICTION
Any contract for your purchase from Faureal is governed by and has to be interpreted under the Laws of the Republic of South Africa and you agree that such contract will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Employees of Faureal, and their families may not participate. The judges’ decision is final.
